So jealous of heat, although I know that perhaps it is a case of too much of a good thing. Sounds like you are having a fab time and not thinking of us (as we requested). That is what travelling is about collecting stories.

Although 14 hours on a bus is not pleasant but at least it is not the 43! As you can imagine London world is pretty much the same, still grey, still raining during the height of summer.

Keep the stories coming...
Sounds like quite an experience! We missed you in Sweden, but managed to get by. Was interesting weather and battled our way through some exciting storms. All the campsites were great: no ant island this time!

Missing you heaps. WE WANT SOME PHOTOS!!! Are you on facebook??
Had a look at the website for Ephesus, looked a lot like Rome, must have been pretty amazing.
Nobody else posted messages yet.

Managed to make it to Ephesus. Just amazing, the scale of the site is mind blowing. Although wandering round wasn't really helped by the 43 degree heat - you can actually feel yourself melting!

We took in Gallipoli on Sunday, fantastic to finally see it. Just insane how close the trenches and things were for the campaign. Very interesting to hear things from the Turkish side too.

The tour group is an interesting one - only 7 of us plus the driver and tour leader. Both of whom are Aussies. Mad driver called Brendo (did have a giggle when I heard that) a real life true blue Ozzie - you couldn't get more Okker and Karen (Kaz). The rest of the group is 4 guys An Irish 28 yr old, two English brothers who are about 22 and 17, a 21 yr old from London. Then the girls are an Aussie who's about 36 and an English woman who lives in Dubai who's older than me too. So an interesting mix of old and young.

I'm with these guys for the next 2 1/2 weeks should be a bit of fun.

Off to do boat cruise I think tomorrow, so should be nice to get out on the sea.

Hope everyone's well. I think all comments are open to everyone to see? But still not completely sure how it works... Oh well!
